At the Bijutsu-kan Gallery in Epcot, there is Go! Princess toilet paper on display.
Specific Tropes
Acclaimed Flop: While Go! Princess is critically beloved (particularly in the Western fanbase), its viewership ratings and merchandise sales were abysmal compared to other seasons, owing to both Dueling Works and reports of the target demographic being scared by the sheer intensity of the fight scenes. A direct result of this is Executive Meddling mandating the omission of Pretty Cure’s usual violent combat from KiraKira’s fight scenes two years later.
Anime First: There is a manga but it just adapts the anime.
Studio Hop: Starting with episode 25, Chura Sound began handling the sound effects work for the franchise going forward as Pretty Cure's longtime sound effects editor, Takahisa Ishino had transferred there from Sound Ring, as the latter studio had pretty much gone defunct at around that time.
Written by Cast Member: Kaori Yamagata—who voices Queen Pumpkin in The Movie—also wrote the script for one of its three acts (under the pen name Sakurako Akino). She later wrote the novel, which is set ten years after the series and acts as a sequel of sorts to the movie.
