Trivia / Gimmick! (1992)

Go To

  • Bad Export for You: The Japanese release used an on-cart Yamaha YM2149 PSG sound chip to provide higher-quality audio than what was normally possible with the stock Famicom. As the NES lacks the Famicom's support for these kinds of enhancement chips, the Scandinavian release and American prototype both have to downgrade the in-game audio to compensate.
  • No Export for You: The NES version was only released in Japan and Scandinavia. There does exist a prototype of an American Mr. Gimmick, but sadly it remained a prototype. The Special Edition is the first time the Famicom version has been officially released everywhere else.
  • No Port For You: The exAct☆Mix remaster is exclusive to the exA-Arcadia system, and there are no plans to port it to any other platforms, meaning you'll have to track down a physical cabinet if you want to play it.
