- Creator Backlash: When chapter 2 of Power Games was released, discussion of the actual story took a backseat to discussing irrelevant world building and metaphysics. EarthScorpion was not amused and threatened to stop posting any background information.
- Schedule Slip: Once inverted, with new chapters coming out monthly - a rarity for fanfiction. Sadly, Power Games saw this trope playing out, mostly because Aleph had to focus on her studies and later getting a job.
- Teasing and Trolling Creator: When they're not explaining the setting, Aleph and EarthScorpion really like messing with the readers. Made most apparent in the end of Power Games where they act like the story is ending, and then reveal that no, Nanoha is trapped in the Book of Darkness.
- What Could Have Been: Game Theory was originally a Peggy Sue fic. (No guesses as to who would have gone back).
