• What Could Have Been: The climax of the episode was originally supposed to involve a musical number led by Morris on the auxiliary controls against the Carcarons. The sequence was fully animated when Matt Groening vetoed it. Most of the lyrics were reworked into straight dialogue and the animation edited to fit. However, both versions of the full episode are available on DVD and the one with the musical number was used for American syndicated broadcasts.
