Trivia / Funkin' Corruption: REIMAGINED

Go To

  • Approval of God:
    • Like Phantom Fear, at the end of every episode, DyanEstella shows off fan art for the series.
    • Phantom Fear, creator of the original Corruption, seemingly does like REIMAGINED if his comment on the finale is anything to go by.
  • Author's Saving Throw: Players commonly found the ending of Reimagined to be missing a key point; the fact that Monster/Lemon Demon was still out there and could strike again at any time. When the final build came out, however, this added some closure, with a brand new song not released on DyanEstella's channel named "Take Two", with Spirit BF, the Dearests and several other NPCs going back to the mall to settle it with the Big Bad once and for all at the end of the Rewind week.
  • Content Leak: A rouge dev leaked out an early build, leading to the first version of the mod to be published officially.
  • Doing It for the Art: Following the round-off of the main story of the mod, the extra songs (such as the alternate timelines and "In Your Mind") were all made for fun. In fact, the whole mod was simply made for fun, not for fame.
  • Promoted Fanboy: Conenter had been making his own FNF mod dubbed Kin Funkin, alongside a spin-off related to this mod, Pumpkin Hunt, which stars his own original character. After the below-mentioned Role-Ending Misdemeanor, he was officially called upon to compose the new True Final Boss theme for this mod.
  • Prop Recycling: The chromatic used for Girlfriend throughout this mod has also made its appearance in several other mods, even ones that can be considered more light-hearted.
  • Role-Ending Misdemeanor: After controversy came up concerning composer NyaddiaUwU, her songs were removed from the mod to be reworked by other composers, with all three Pico songs getting replacements, and "Full Circle" getting replaced by "Final Tempest" by Conenter.
  • Word of God: Lore related to the alternate timelines ("Compassion", "Duality", "Doomsday" and "Resurgence") are usually mentioned and dropped by the developers.
    • The "Resurgence" timeline was caused by BF trying to intervene with events with Spirit's aid, but only causing something MUCH worse to be created as a result.
    • In the "Compassion" timeline, though BF didn't get corrupted, Girlfriend still did, and under this control, she strapped her boyfriend to a train to die. Seeing this, Pico got him free and saved him, though lost his life in the process, which leads to the main song of that timeline.
    • A whole document was created detailing the lore of the "Duality" timeline leading up to its first song.
      • funny man, the composer for "Rigormortis", also confirmed Girlfriend won against Skid and Pump and freed them from the Corruption, which is outright shown in the very last video for the mod.
    • Via a YouTube community post, Valor Genesect, the main composer for the Compassion Timeline, expects only five of the timeline's multiple songs to make it into the mod proper to be playable, "Compassion" itself included.
