  • Creator-Driven Successor:
    • Rock Band Unplugged, unlike most of the rest of the series, is played solely with the PlayStation Portable, and the gameplay loop is exactly the same as FreQuency and Amplitude, only with a four button layout instead of three.
    • Rock Band Blitz similarly only uses the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 controller. However, unlike Unplugged, each track only has a two button layout and players are free to play as much or as little of a track as they want before switching.
  • Dummied Out: FreQuency has two songs that have no known unlock conditions and are only accessible via modified save files: "Godspeed" by BT and "Scratchotronic" by Kareem Caines.
  • What Could Have Been: One Amplitude PS2 demo disc consisted solely of the song "Space" by P.O.D.. For whatever reason, the song didn't make it into the actual game, or any of the other demos for that matter. A different P.O.D. song, "Boom (The Crystal Method Remix)", is the game's opening theme and the very first song in the song list.
