- The Danza: Jason, a Putt-Putt Expy, is voiced by Jason Ellefson, Putt-Putt's voice actor at the time.
- Troubled Production: The decision to use hand-drawn animation was made after a significant amount of work had already been done on the original MS-DOS version. And the release date wasn't pushed back to compensate. This led to the team scrambling and working overtime to get the game done on time.
- What Could Have Been: The game was originally being developed for MS-DOS with low-res (320x200) art similar to the first two Putt-Putt games. The art style was eventually retooled and led to the hand-animated art style that made the game a Killer App for early multimedia computers. Freddi and Luther's designs were vastly different in this iteration as well; Freddi had a pink and purple look (nicknamed the "Barbie" design by the original team), where Luther was still green but had a big nose and a much more comical design.
