  • California Doubling: The exterior scenes of the Soviet Embassy were filmed at the home of Bob Monkhouse.
  • Executive Meddling: Frank Muir ordered "The Foreign Body" to be rewritten by Brian Cooke and Johnny Mortimer, claiming the original writer wasn't very good. Cooke and Mortimer went on to write every episode.
  • Fake Nationality: Monsieur Dubois from "The Foreign Body" was played by the British Bryan Kendrick.
  • Fake Russian: All of the Russians working in the Soviet Embassy were played by Brits - Ronnie Barker, Joe Melia, and Sonia Graham.
  • Missing Episode: All six episodes have been wiped and the series is unable to be viewed anymore.
  • What Could Have Been: Before Brian Cooke and Johnny Mortimer were hired to write the series, there was another writer. His original version of "The Foreign Body" wasn't considered to be very good and so he was dropped.
  • You Look Familiar:
    • James Beck played a waiter in "Can We Have Our Ball Back?" and Burke in "The Leak".
    • Jennie Linden played Vanessa in "Learning to Compromise" and Sonia in "The Exterminator".
