• The Other Darrin: Mel Blanc's 1989 passing has led to other actors playing the loud-mouthed rooster, including Joe Alaskey (who voiced Foghorn in a deleted scene from Who Framed Roger Rabbit), Jeff Bergman, Billy West, Bill Farmer, Maurice LaMarche, Frank Gorshin, Eric Bauza, Jeff Bennett, and Greg Burson.
• What Could Have Been: According to Bob McKimson, a different actor than Mel Blanc originally read for Foghorn, though their take on the character was never used. Luckily, Blanc took over and mastered the interpretation the director desired.
