• In Memoriam: Five Feet Apart was dedicated to Claire Wineland, a real-life YouTuber who, similar to Stella, used YouTube and the charity she founded to assist those suffering from the disease and bring light to the condition. Wineland served as a consultant on the film and was the original inspiration for its creation, but sadly died on September 2, 2018 from a stroke after a double lung transplant. If you look closely during the segments where Will watches Stella's videos, you can see a small tribute to Wineland - one of Stella's videos is titled as a collaboration between the two.
