• Acting for Two: David Graham plays Professor Matthew "Matt" Matic and Lieutenant Ninety.
• Descended Creator: Gerry Anderson himself voices Robert the robot. This also marks the only role Gerry played in his creations.
• Executive Meddling: From the 12th episode of the Japanese airing, Narration by Tani Kei was added and the title was changed to “Tani Kei no Uchu Bouken (谷啓の宇宙冒険, ‘Space Adventure of Tani Kei’).” The entire voice cast were also renewed.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The Japanese dub is lost. It aired on Fuji-TV in 1963 (and re-ran in 1964), but every release after that, including the VHS release in 1985, streaming on Super! Drama Classic and re-ran on Super! Drama TV in 2020, only has Japanese subtitles.
• The Other Darrin: In the Japanese dub, all voice actors were replaced by the new ones in the 12th episode (Japanese Broadcast Order).
