• Screwed by the Lawyers: Though honestly it's not really the lawyers's faults. Dark Design tried to sell the game even though it wasn't officially licensed by Square Enix. The project quickly got shut down once Square caught wind of its existence.
• Vaporware: The game was shut down by Square Enix before it could be released, and all the files were destroyed. However, someone salvaged a copy of the game, changed a bunch of names, and released the game onto Steam under the name Jacob's Quest in November 2022.
