Trivia / Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

• Dummied Out:
  • Amusingly; all of the inventory from the GBA version of the game exists in the code; even the Game-Breaker ones from the GBA Bonus Dungeon. You just can't get them without cheating. (This was fixed in the PSP port.)
  • There's also weapons and armor created by the programmers, named after themselves; as well as the Debug Ring. These make you invincible; again, you're not going to see them without cheating.
• No Export for You: For some strange reason, the Steam version isn't available in Asia. Thankfully, however, the other versions of the 3D remake are.
• What Could Have Been: There are several dummied-out commands in this game. Harley was supposed to have "Knowledge" which increases the efficacy of attack items. There are also "Omni" (a superior version of "Kick"), "Double Item", "Double Throw", and "Blue Magic".
