• Deleted Scene: The DVD (as well as Netflix and Hulu) includes an extra scene where Peter and his fat advocacy group sing at the funeral of one of the Fat Guy Strangler's victims.
• So My Kids Can Watch: According to the DVD Commentary for this episode, Robert Downey Jr. took the part of Patrick after writing to the staff about how his eldest son loves the show and asking if he could contribute to an episode, whether it was writing one or lending his voice.
• What Could Have Been: Originally, the reason Brian threw a rock at Peter was because Brian was in a carrier cage on a plane to meet Patrick and Peter pissed on him. The change for this actually makes sense because Peter was not with his family when they went to meet Patrick and if it was kept in, it would've enabled a Plot Hole.
