• Edited for Syndication: Syndication significantly shortens the scene where Mayor West eats some taffy (unlike most edits in syndication on Family Guy, this was done because it was an Overly Long Gag that needed to be shortened, not because of anything offensive).
• Word of God: According to commentary, people do understand what Stewie says, but, because he's a toddler, they don't take him seriously. Though another episode commentary states that whether or not people understand Stewie is based on what best fits the joke/story.
