• What Could Have Been: At one point or another, this was seriously considered as a "Road to..." episode.
  • An animatic of the episode seen on the Volume #11 DVD is seen as different from the final product.
  • When Brian recalls the date Jan. 31, 1999,^note a.k.a. the day the show first aired. Stewie says that is the day of his first memory. This ended up in the final cut regardless, though in a different part on the DVD version.
  • Stewie had a stack of plastic army men and Legos laid around his room in the animatic.
  • Instead of the gag involving Stewie's Japanese children's books, Stewie complained about his old diaper trash bin. This would become a fully animated Deleted Scene.
  • While driving to the stag party and unknowingly bringing Future Brian with him, Past Peter passes by a billboard that asks "Is Sugar Ray the next Beatles?" Peter agrees but Brian doesn't. They would also drive past the Happy Go-Lucky Toy Factory.
  • In the animatic, when getting back to the present, Stewie and Brian talk about how they love the present better and there's a gag where Stewie's mouthing is out of sync with his wording. This would become a fully animated Deleted Scene.
  • Brian explains how he informed his past self about 9/11, he lied about having to pee and actually went downstairs and left a note warning his past self about the catastrophic event by putting a small note in a book^note Tom Wolfe's A Man in Full his former self was reading.
  • In the alternate timeline where Brian is the author of the Harry Potter series, rather than Lois saying a pseudo-spell phrase, she said that she couldn't wait for the next book.^note It's worth noting that this episode came out in 2011 and by the time the episode came out, the last Harry Potter book (and film for that matter) have already came out.
  • The alternate Stewie who had breasts had additional dialogue.
  • In the animatic, after preventing their past selves from coming to the past and just before they fade from existence, Brian tries some crack.
