Trivia / Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse

• Actor Allusion: Bertram controlling a giant T-Rex brings Toy Story to mind, where Wallace Shawn also played Rex. The T-Rex even had a green coloration for good measure.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Due to Activision's contract to publish games from 20th Century Fox expiring, the game was taken off of digital storefronts in December 2014. The only legal way to get the game as of this writing is either buy a physical copy secondhand or get a Steam code on Amazon with other delisted Activision games.
• Recycled Set: The airport in which Peter fights Ernie the Giant Chicken reuses the map of the airport in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 mission "No Russian".
• What Could Have Been: The game was originally going to be a zombie shooter entitled Family Guy: Road to Death parodying the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops' Zombies mode and Left 4 Dead, but due to objections from Seth MacFarlane over how dark the game's content was, it was eventually retooled into a sequel for the iconic Road to the Multiverse episode. The plot for the game was to have the Griffins' amongst other characters in the series find Death after a zombie invasion hits Quahog.
  • The multiplayer aspect of the game was originally going to have online functionality which was absent in the final game.
