Trivia / Eye of the Storm (Kenya Starflight)

• Creator Backlash: In July 2023, the author updated the fic with an author's note stating that they were uncomfortable with certain content that could be taken as racist/xenophobic/homophobic within the story, that they apologized to anyone who might have been hurt by said content, and that while the story wouldn't be taken down they would be distancing themselves from it and its sequels.
• Fandom Rivalry: In-universe example — Star Wars fans have one with the Star Trek crowd. A couple of particularly rude ones show up to cause trouble.
• Missing Episode: The chapter "Talent Night" was left out of the fanfiction.net posting due to the author feeling it had little actual relevance to the plot. It could still be found in old posts on the Luke/Vader writers Yahoo group (before all Yahoo!Groups were removed at the end of 2019), but finding it took an account and a LOT of digging. (At least one reader has admitted to downloading and saving a copy, and is hoping it gets reposted in Star City, USA someday.)
