• Creative Differences: Henrik Danhage, Jari Kainulainen, and Jonas Ekdahl together decided to leave Evergrey when they weren't getting along much, so they left so their friendship isn't jeopardized. Of the three, Danhage and Ekdahl returned to the band.
  • The same thing occurred, but on a slightly less calm note, shortly after the release of Glorious Collision. Marcus Jidell and Hannes van Dahl left because they did not get along with Englund.
• Reality Subtext: In the first minute of the music video for "I'm Sorry", pay attention to the two men talking to each other in the background. These two men are drummers Patrick Carlsson and Jonas Ekdahl. Carlsson stands up, shakes hands with Ekdahl, and leaves, while Ekdahl sits in Carlsson's place. This is a subtle and ingenious way of showing that Ekdahl has replaced Carlsson.
