  • Acting For Five: Souichiro Hoshi is the voice of Takeshi, one of the protagonists. The voice actor for the other protagonist, Kid, is deliberately hidden until the true ending. Turns out it's also Souichiro Hoshi. Oh, but wait. Turns out Kid is actually two different characters. One of them is the Kid seen in Takeshi's route, aka Kaburaki, while the other is Hokuto. So Hoshi actually voices three characters. And for extra points, Kaburaki grows up to impersonate Takeshi in Kid's route, and his voice matches his more advanced age, while not quite matching the real Takeshi's voice, so it's almost like Hoshi voices four characters. And then in the drama CD, he also voices Blick Winkel, an actual fourth character!
  • Creator-Driven Successor: Steins;Gate is usually seen as one, and for a good reason (both games also shared the same composer, and S;G's soundtracks are filled with suspiciously similar sounds). The fact that one of E17's writers (Kotarou Uchikoshi) are also involved in the Gaiden Game probably helps. And then there's the fact that the remake was developed by the same developer themselves (5pb./MAGES.)
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game got a very limited release in the US, due to the near-complete obscurity Visual Novels had in the west at the time, meaning copies of the game are collector pieces that run hundreds of dollars. It also hasn't gotten a digital rerelease either, presumably due to legal issues, meaning that anyone who hears of the game will be forced to turn to piracy.
  • No Export for You: You're from Europe (Other than CIS)? Tough luck.
  • What Could Have Been: An earlier version of the ending CG for You's Route shows the person she's kissing as having blue hair. Given that the Kid's outfit in that ending is the same as Takeshi's original outfit (which was changed during development), it's possible that You was originally meant to be one of Takeshi's heroines, but was changed during production.
    • Tsugumi was almost going to be a vampire. Traces of this can be found in the final game where she's sensitive to sunlight and her children have infrared vision.
    • LeMU was originally going to be a regular theme park inspired by Disneyland until the writers realized the characters could easily escape.
