• Remade for the Export: The original version of the game wasn't released in Europe or Australia, but the Untold remake on the Nintendo 3DS did see release in those regions. Those regions would later get a version closer to the original DS version as part of Origins Collection.
• Uncredited Role: The Overlord's Japanese voice actor was not included in the staff roll.
• What Could Have Been: The artbook of The Fafnir Knight reveals there were initial plans to integrate Ur-Child into the story. He would have been a rival of sorts to the main character, and have the appearance of a young boy.
