- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The Series 3 and 4 Discover packs, as well as the Fantastic and City Packs. The 4 Special cards sold at conventions (Transformers, Power Rangers, Darren Korb and G.I. Joe). The Hasbro website just shows where to buy it (Amazon is the only one currently up), while Amazon doesn't have the above mentioned. Fantastic and City especially fit this trope, as they are hard to find on Ebay, The main place where people sell the cards.
- Screwed by the Network: New Dropmix cards only came within two years, with hasbro stopping the manufacturing of cards in 2019. It doesn't help that Harmonix, the creator of the game, later developed Fuser, a game that is heavily using the same concept, just easier to make.
- What Could Have Been: A few decks were announced but never released.
