• Dueling Dubs:
  • Speedy Video included an English dub on their Malaysian VCD release around 1999 under the title "Super Guy in the Galaxy." Their dub of this film was sourced from the Cantonese dub, and features recycled library music and muted audio whenever anyone speaks.
  • AB Groupe released an English dub for the European market in 2002, also as "The Super Guy in the Galaxy," featuring English-speaking voice actors in France.
  • Funimation released their dub to VHS and DVD in 2004, featuring their in-house voice cast in Dallas and an original musical score by Mark Menza. It was reissued to DVD and Blu-ray in 2009 with the original Japanese soundtrack.
