• Feelies: The original release of the game included an exclusive promotional card for use with the Mutant Chronicles card game.
• No Export for You: Despite being based off a Swedish franchise that has a popular fanbase in Scandinavia, it only reached North American stores. There was no excuse not to release it in Europe, but it never did.
• Polished Port: The SNES version of the game balances the characters better, lets you move while firing as well as aim in all directions, lets you conserve special weapons, expands on the first level greatly, offers a larger field view, rebalances some enemies to be less unfair, and makes Demnogonis unable to slay you through sheer randomness. It also has slower gameplay, meaning some will still prefer the Sega release. On a technical level, however, it fixed many issues.
