- Dueling Dubs: The series was dubbed three times in Finland; first was the VHS version by PVP Voice, actor Pauli Virta doing all the voices with the original English dub heard on the background. The second dub was made by Yle Import for the TV runs and this time actor Heikki Määttänen did all the voices while again English dub heard in the background. The third dub was made by SDI Media in 2017, but now all characters had their own voice actors.
- International Co Production: Between the Japanese Topcraft* and the American De Patie Freleng Enterprises* . DePatie-Freleng in turn outsourced the animation of its episodes to Dong-Seo in Korea because the production coincided with an animation strike.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: All thirteen episodes of Doctor Snuggles got a DVD release in the United Kingdom. As of 2021, optical disc releases for other countries have yet to be announced.
- What Could Have Been: According to the Doctor Snuggles Shrine
, creator Jeffrey O'Kelly actually designed a prototype Doctor Snuggles doll but was unable to mass produce it. He even went as far as to visit toy store FAO Schwartz to get them to sell the dolls; when they learned all Jeffrey had was the prototype, and it wasn't yet a tie-in to any existing book, film or TV series, they understandably turned him away.
