• No Dub for You: A first in the series to not include an English dub.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: The Puella Magi Madoka Magica characters are unvoiced in the English version due to the company being unable to acquire the rights to use them.
• Troubled Production: Disgaea RPG had a launch that went so badly that it nearly became a Franchise Killer. The game was originally supposed to launch on March 2019, but was plagued with technical issues when first released and was in constant maintenance mode, before eventually being pulled from the app store until further notice. Not only that, the game was also linked to major financial issues with the company, with reports indicating NIS took drastic measures just to pay their employee's wages. Fortunately, the game launched for real on November 2019 and has been doing fine since.
