- Actor Allusion: Djelibeybi features a number of references to Monty Python's Life of Brian. Rincewind, played by Eric Idle, finds it all very familiar.
- Not only that, but when Rincewind examines Bone Idle, he isn't too appreciative of the joke. Punctuated with a rimshot for good measure.
- Nigel Planer voices a Mad Drongo who sounds like Neil from The Young Ones, and even exclaims "Boom-shanka!" for good measure.
