- Stillborn Franchise: Was intended to be the first of a trilogy written by M. Night Shyamalan called The Night Chronicles about the supernatural in modern urban society. Two sequels were announced, the first called Reincarnate and the second reusing the screenplay of an abandoned Unbreakable sequel, but neither of them have materialized. The second proposed film eventually would surface later as Split. However, it surfaced in its original capacity as an Unbreakable sequel, quietly confirming that The Night Chronicles had been abandoned as a concept.
