• Diagnosis of God: Per James Tynion, Cass is "neurologically atypical," which is reasonable given her extreme upbringing. However, he also has said he will not be more specific than that, to avoid potential stereotyping of any particular mental illness.
• What Could Have Been: From Word of God, if this run had been able to continue to issue #1000 as originally intended, it would have spent more time with the main characters divided after Batwoman's split from the team in issue #975. The series would alternate between story arcs about the Belfry team led by Tim Drake and the Colony team led by Batwoman, until the two groups would ultimately unite against the final Big Bad... Tim's future self, who would be operating a scheme involving orchestrating all of Gotham's worst villains. Ultimately, the run was cut short and Future Tim was poached by editorial mandate to be used in the "Super Sons of Tomorrow" crossover story instead. However, Tynion ended up working a lot of his ideas for the original end of this run into the story arc "Their Dark Designs" from his later run on Batman, with the new character of the Designer in the Future Tim role.
