• Dummied Out:
  • There are many unused 3D assets among the game's files, many of which can also be found in Super Princess Peach's files. These include unused panoramas, series characters such as Konk and an Unu, and, weirdly, many things completely unrelated to Starfy, such as models for ninja characters, Galaga graphics, and a model of a desk chair.
  • Sprites of the seven Koopalings can be found in the game's files, which, like many of the aforementioned models, are also present (and similarly unused) in Super Princess Peach.
  • Like most of the other titles in the series, an unused test stage with glitched graphics lingers in this game's code, inaccessible through normal means.
  • There are three songs in the game's code that go unused in the final game, and can't be accessed in Sea Jams.
• Fan Translation: While a proper, playable translation of the game has not yet been created, the YouTuber Autumnchild has posted a playthrough of the game with on-screen subtitles translating important dialogue.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: Prior to the release of the game, Nintendo of Japan held a contest where fans could design costumes for Starfy and Starly, then send them in to Nintendo for a chance to get an actual costume in the game based on it. Six winners were chosen, and the entrants' names were also listed in the game's credits. Other runner-up designs were also featured in the credits.
