• Referenced by...: The video game adaptation of Animator vs. Animation has a level entirely based on Defend Your Castle where you must protect a castle from an army of stick figures by using your cursor.
• What Could Have Been: One of the image previews for the game on the old version of the XGen Studios website shows a green fire-breathing dragon attacking the castle. No dragon ever appears in the game itself, not even in the game's files.
