- Making Use of the Twin: Gabriela Spanic has a twin sister by the name of Daniela. They acted together in the scenes where it was necessary to see both Paola and Paulina.
- What Could Have Been: None other than Thalia, fresh out of the success of the "Three Marias trilogy", was the first name considered to play Paulina and Paola. However, the actress turned down the role because she was busy with her music business. If she had accepted, Paola would have been the only villain in her filmography. Thalia would only act in Rosalinda next, before retiring from acting.
