• What Could Have Been: in early concept art, Jefferson the Squid was revealed to have a Teddy Bear in his tank, which he cuddles with at night. Although this is not shown in the final game, the "Ink-Stained Teddy Bear" is among the "Shiny Things" (i.e. collectibles) the player can uncover during their quest. Lore text reveals that "Covered in ink stains and small circular blotches, it nevertheless appears well-loved".
