• Actor-Inspired Element: Thomas Quill designed Jack's skeleton costume himself.
• Cast the Expert: Jack's teacher is played by James O'Brien, who is a teacher himself.
• Dawson Casting: All the teenage characters are played by actors in their early twenties.
• He Also Did: Thomas Quill also composed and performed the piano music that plays when Jack and Lucille are talking.
• Real-Life Relative: Felix Carter, who plays one of the bullies, is the son of producer and art director Caroline Hill. His brother Leo plays another of the bullies.
• Throw It In!: In the cemetery scene, one of the ghosts can be seen helping another walking. This is because the extra walks with a stick and wasn't comfortable walking across the rocky ground.
