- Issue 4 was designed to lead into the Dark Guard Gold series, a double-length quarterly comic that would have accompanied the ongoing series.
- Some European reprints included pages from the unpublished issue #5, with Motormouth begging at London's Waterloo station, and seemingly the only person who can see a ghostly, intangible Death's Head.
