Go To

  • Anachronic Order: Most of the chapters in the series take place in chronological order. However, there are some exceptions:
    • All-Out War issues #1 and #2 take place before the main series issue #7, despite both being released later. As, in the former, John Constantine is using astral projection to communicate with the people in the city of Nightlight, his body being custodied elsewhere. It's not until the second issue that he's found by Doctor Fate and brought to Kandor, where he can be found at the start of the second half of the series.
    • Dark Birth is a prequel set before the very beginning of the story, showing the origin of the Vampire King.
    • Kill the Messenger takes place between issues #6 and #7 of the main series, before the latter's Time Skip.
  • Lying Creator: Despite initially claiming that the book would put the Arrowfam at the forefront as the protagonists, their only appearances are are during issue 1 and 11-12, with Ollie mostly being stuck in jail before killing Hawkman and Roy being revealed to be alive out of nowhere, not to mention the fact that Mia Dearden, Connor Hawke and Emiko Queen don't appear in the book at all despite the majority of the Batfam appearing.
