Trivia / CROSS×BEATS

Go To

  • He Also Did: This series is produced by the Naoki Maeda, with some other former BEMANI musicians like jun and SLAKE for good measure; you could be forgiven for assuming that "DYNAMITE SENSATION" "Blue Destiny Blue", and "EMERALD KISS" are DDR songs.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes:
    • The only soundtrack released so far was for crossbeats Rev., and with Capcom owning the rights to the game's music, they get to decide when to release anything. So for three years the only music released was for one version o the game. Better catch up now.
    • Both games' services were terminated in June 2018. At least REV. can still be played in guest mode with all songs available to play, but CROSS×BEATS is gone forever, with no way to play it anymore (since a net connection was required to play it), unless by chance you find an offline or reverse-engineered-server crack of it.
  • No Export for You: Neither game got a proper overseas release. Making a Japan-region iTunes account would allow you to download CROSS×BEATS anywhere you have Internet access (barring network regulations), though you would need a Japan-native payment method or Japan-region iTunes cards to conduct Microtransactions, as PayPal is not supported in the Japanese version of the App Store. Several Round 1 locations in the United States have crossbeats REV. machines, although they are only playable in Japanese.
  • No Port For You: CROSS×BEATS was iOS-only, much to the pain of Android users. The sequel thankfully is dual-platform.
