- Actor Allusion:
- One of the characters comments that Chev looks like "that guy from The Transporter movies". That's because he is.
- Also, when Chev starts to shoot a disabled Mook and the gun clicks empty, he says "You lucky bastard!" This was a reference to Snatch., another Jason Statham movie.
- Fake Nationality: Poon Dong is Chinese but played by David Carradine!
- Throw It In!: Amy Smart (Eve) actually had hiccups during the scene in the cafe, and was actually laughing at herself, not knowing that the cameras were rolling.
- What Could Have Been: There could have been plans for a Crank 3, however Brian Taylor said it'd be impossible to make a film like it without heavy backlash due to today's political correctness.
