• Written-In Infirmity: Actress Janet Wright, who plays Emma, was evidently less ambulatory than she had previously been by the time the movie was filmed. Every one of Emma's scenes has her either sitting down, leaning against something or walking only very short distances on-camera. The subplot of Emma buying a mobility scooter to replace the car was likely included because Janet Wright actually needed one by then.
• You Look Familiar: Sportscaster Darren Dutchyshen plays a patron at the hotel bar after having played himself in the Corner Gas season 1 episode "Face Off".
