• Development Gag: Kee's design was based on an early male concept design for Atari.
• In Memoriam: This image dedicated to Satoru Iwata.
• Inspiration for the Work: The comic is loosely inspired by Hetalia: Axis Powers, which Zanreo considers what got her interested in personifications. In addition, the characters were first created a while after Fandomstuck had got big on tumblr, and Zanreo got inspired to draw her own characters based on the "big 3" game consoles - or rather, the companies behind them - and Sega. While just simple Homestuck sprite edits at first, she liked the characters so much she kept drawing them and eventually made comics about them based on gaming news.
