• What Could Have Been: A sequel, named Conquest 2: Vyrium Uprising was announced, introducing a fourth race, the titular Vyrium, whose heavily-armored ships specialize in "up close and personal" combat, but the developer then went bankrupt. Some time later, a Kickstarter campaign was initiated by some of the original creators, who claimed that the game was 50% finished, but the campaign was cancelled, when it became clear that very few people were interested.
  • Remnants in the game's coding show the Vyrium were originally going to be in the game. Uniquely, they had Planet Killers that could destroy planets.
