• What Could Have Been: The "Who's the Boss? subplot was supposed to end with the professor shooting himself off-screen (hence the gun in his drawer), Abed briefly noticing the gunshot, and then shrugging it off and walking away again. It was decided that this was a step too dark and made Abed appear less "kookily distant" and more "borderline sociopathic", so was changed.
