- Inspiration for the Work: Barry Oursler's childhood memories at Riverview Park led him to design a pinball game based around an Amusement Park. In particular, the park's roller coaster "Comet" directly inspired the game's centerpiece.
- Referenced by...: During Charlie the robot's mode in Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (2023), achieving one of the extra objectives plays an animation of Shaggy and Scooby on a roller coaster. The message accompanying it reads "Ride the Comet!" as a reference to this game's titular ride.
