Trivia / Cognitive Dissonance

• Meaningful Release Date: Version 1.0 released on May 10, 2009, which was Mother's Day in the United States. Version 2.0 released on Halloween 2014.
• Word of Dante: An odd case in the Mother fanbase. Most everyone knows that this is a fangame and the events aren't canon to the main series, but many also like to treat it as the unofficial canon for the gap between EarthBound Beginnings and EarthBound (1994), especially for the Golden Ending since it allows Giegue to have a happy ending.
• What Could Have Been: otherhand wanted to add a run feature to the game, but RPG Maker struggled to get the four characters onscreen to even follow each other in four directions, and making them move any faster broke the character pathing completely. Similarly, diagonal movement was considered for the game, but abandoned for much the same reason.
