Trivia / Codename: ICEMAN

• Backed by the Pentagon: The game lists the US Navy in the opening credits under Special Thanks.
• Dummied Out: There's an unused generic death message almost identical to the one used in Space Quest III: The Pirates of Pestulon. Its wording is humorous in nature in contrast to this game's serious tone and every death is given a unique message here, so it doesn't fit.
• Multi-Disc Work: The game is on four 3½" disks (the Amiga version has five) or nine 5¼" disks.
• Stillborn Franchise / What Could Have Been: Sierra talked about a sequel named Codename: PHOENIX, but after the game being released to generally disappointing sales, followed by the fallout between game designer Jim Walls and CEO Ken Williams, the project was canceled.
