- Development Hell: The Whodunnit Sidegame managed to suffer through this in three Different Seasons, with Season 1 falling apart in its final challenge and suffering several delays, Season 2 being abandoned midway through, and Season 3 having been in Development for years.
- Orphaned Series: Several games have suffered this and ended midway through without a proper conclusion. Two notable examples are Mastermind (a Danganronpa adaptation of The Genius) and Whodunnit Season 2.
- There have even been a couple of trials that have suffered from this, with the Experimental Trials "The Newbie Trial" (A trial aimed at new users) and "The Elementary Trial" (a trial featuring the cast of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls) both receiving no conclusions.
- The infamous Distrust game ends was dropped prior to what would've been the final chapter.
- Schedule Slip:
- Due to multiple real-life issues, the 15th trial received an extension beyond the one-week limit.
- "Whodunnit: Season 1" suffers a serious case of this, as this game ends up lasting for months.
- Class Trials 54 and 62 received long delays between Sign-Ups and the first thread, with 62 even being taken over by a new Host.
- Experimental Trial 10 and Trial 70 are both currently delayed.
