• Completely Different Title: French: "Derniers maux, 2ème partie" (Final odds, part 2)
• Pop-Culture Urban Legends: A rumour persists that two separate endings were filmed just in case the series wasn't renewed. Holly Marie Combs denied this in a 2022 Reddit AMA, saying they only had the budget to film one ending.
• What Could Have Been:
  • In the original script written before the series was renewed for a final season, the ending was much darker: the Charmed Ones get killed while destroying the Nexus, and Leo never comes back to the Manor.
  • Supposedly, Shannen Doherty was asked to come Back for the Finale and Prue herself would show the sisters how to use astral projection. At one convention, she recalls turning down an offer to appear in "the finale", feeling the writing wasn't true to the character, but didn't clarify if it was this one or "Forever Charmed" (where others say she wasn't asked because they couldn't afford her).
