If you count the two chapters published on 3 April to compensate for the previous day's omission, then the streak continues until a missed day on 7 September due to computer hardware failure. (A gap on 8 August was compensated for with two chapters on 10 August.) The update-a-day schedule picked up again on 8 September and continued until 13 October (after the climactic events of Sol 551 published on 10 October) with the final chapters published on 16-18 October, and Forward and Appendices added on 10 November. In simpler terms, excluding the final epilogue added on 31 March 2019, over 475,000 words written and published as an update-a-day challenge, completed with only two gaps of more than a single day.
Teasing Creator: During the buildup to Hermes' flyby of Earth (part of the Purnell Maneuver to get her back to Mars), four consecutive chapters concluded with a sentence along the lines of: "Meanwhile, Hermes drew closer." This created a stir in the FIMFiction comments section, with many readers finding the repetition ominous and several predictions of impending doom. The flyby and associated supply launches occurred without incident, and the relevant chapter concluded with: "Meanwhile, Hermes drew away."
