• Content Leak: The film was leaked online in late January 2022, more than a week before its official release date.
• International Coproduction: Warner Bros. and DC would co-produce the film with Japanese Studio OLM Incorporated, who brought on their own staff for direction and storyboards on top of animation services.
• Production Posse: Both Keith David and Jonathan Frakes worked with Greg Weisman on Gargoyles as Goliath/Thailog and David Xanatos. David also played (in his first appearance) Ronnie Lincoln/Tombstone for The Spectacular Spider-Man and Mongul on Young Justice (2010).
• Queer Character, Queer Actor: Lesbian Kate Kane/Batwoman is voiced by openly bisexual Stephanie Beatriz.
• Role Reprise: Zehra Fazal and Kelly Hu reprise their Young Justice (2010) roles of Talia al Ghul and Cheshire, respectively.
