  • Follow the Leader:
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The existing shorts were originally uploaded to a YouTube channel for 2 days before being taken down. Luckily, many reuploads of them existed, but many were swiftly taken down by Cartoon Network, making them difficult to find. Later subverted when the rights to the shorts eventually ran out and reverted back to their owners, allowing them to finally be uploaded online. Eventually in 2017, all the shorts (save for the Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa shorts, along with the obvious exception of Joey to the World) were dumped onto Cartoon Network's on-demand service in high-definition.
  • One-Episode Wonder: Just about any of these, save Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Every short other than Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa.
    • The other 27 uncompleted shorts which never got produced, and perhaps never managed to get past the storyboarding stage before the project's cancellation.
    • An early version of Star vs. the Forces of Evil was amongst the shorts that were pitched, but was turned down due to the network's lack of interest in girl shows. The series was eventually picked up by Disney.
  • Write What You Know: Paul Rudish conceived 3 Dog Band out of his love of rave culture.
